What I do during the weekends

“Aargh!”-a sound I heard while playing my favourite game-Wolfteam. Wolfteam is a first-person shooter game that I play, together with my brother, when we have spare time or when we’re taking breaks when we study. This is also how I relieve myself of all the stress in school. Here’s the Wolfteam trailer (shows the story behind Wolfteam).

Friday, a day that marks the end of 1 week of study at school and the start of the much-awaited weekends. I was looking forward to this day as I could finally play my favourite game-Wolfteam. Although I get to use the computer almost every day, my parents allowed me to play this game only on the weekends as it was about violence and they were afraid that I might get influenced by the game.

I was especially excited about this weekend as many of my cousins also play this game and I could not wait to play with them. I have always liked this game because of its good graphics and the availability of rooms to play in. This, together with the relatively large number of people I get to play with, has kept me from quitting the game. However, as I recall what my parents had told me, “you only can play for a maximum of 2 hours a day”, I tried to resist the temptation to continue playing and eventually disciplined myself to quit the game on time.

In conclusion, although the game is fun and I enjoyed it very much, it is also full of violence. I have to control myself to stop playing once the time is up or else the consequences in the future will be unthinkable.
